Texas Association for Family Child Care (TAFCC) is a concerned group of advocates dedicated to making a difference
in the decisions that affect the child care community.
Our organization is not-for-profit and consists
of a diverse group of child care advocates, working parents, and businesses across the state, who are striving to ensure that
quality child care services are available to Texas families.
The growing concerns of child care specialists
across the state are mounting, including: lack of affordable training, changes in standards, funding cuts, excessive closing
of registered family homes, lack of statewide notifications and display of information, readable regulations in plain language,
and most recently consolidating and combining minimum standards.
